Due to standing on water channel, tens of buildings alongside Jalan Brigjen Katamso until Jalan KS Tubun, Kota Bambu Selatan, Palmerah Sub-district, West Jakarta, Monday (3/7) demolished.

"Totally, we control 12 buildings and 24 stalls. It was supposedly conducted February 29, but it had been postponed because related unit was focused in execution towards Kalijodo," expressed Head of Kota Bambu Selatan, Muhadi, Monday (3/7).

Muhadi stated, demolishment went smoothly without protest. "Some owners have demolished building by themselves," he stated.

Post-relocation, he furthered, West Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept will refunction the channel in handling puddle and flood.

"Today, flood taskforce has worked to refunction the channel," he stated.
